Nora Ryan Books
Nora Ryan is a pen name. The author has
chosen this name to honor her paternal
grandmother who was born in an age when
women did not have a voice.
Two years living on a small island in the
Caribbean provided the inspiration for a
trilogy of works by Nora Ryan.

Across the Great Divide is a novel
exploring  the divide caused by race and
  socio-economic  circumstances and the
ability of the human spirit to bridge the
divide. It's a spiritual love story that
probes  the quiet recesses of the soul,
provoking the reader to examine his own
  response to the human condition.

Cracked Conch is a collection of short
stories and poems that delivers a series of
vignettes into the lives of a colorful cast of
misfits and mischief-makers all shaped by
that exquisite tapestry of life woven on
  sun- drenched islands.

Marie's Story is the poignant account of a
young Haitian girl with AIDS. The reader
is brought on a journey through the
landscape of rural Haiti and into the lives
of children as they struggle and triumph in
  a haphazard and uncertain world.
